How to acquire and manage your own domain on the internet

.com? .org? .edu? This week we looked at how to purchase a domain name.  We discussed selecting Domain Name Registrars and hosts as well as some of the basics of DNS (Domain Name System).

This is the first of a multi-session discussion.  In future sessions, we will discuss cloud services including Amazon Web Services (AWS), IBM Bluemix, and, Microsoft Azure.
